Provence campsite: discover the Var
Camping holidays in the heart of Provence
A Provencal campsite
The Etoile d´Argens campsite is located in Provence, on the French Riviera, in the south-east of France, by the Mediterranean Sea. More precisely, it is in the region of Fréjus-Saint Aygulf that the Etoile d'Argens campsite is located, on an area of 11 hectares, in the heart of an exceptional natural park.
A nature as rich as it is varied, with a botanical garden housing protected plant and animal species that you will have the pleasure of discovering during a walk. Taste one of our delicious dishes made from local and seasonal products, with Mediterranean flavors in the shade of olive trees on the terrace of the campsite restaurant.
Come and enjoy a dry and hot summer, typical of the Mediterranean climate. In Provence, there are 300 days of sunshine per year for an incomparable sweetness of life when camping. With record sunshine, and very mild temperatures even in winter, Provence seduces in all seasons.
The most beautiful towns in Provence
Ideally located, you can rent a bike at the Etoile d'Argens campsite and explore the ponds of Villepey, the Provencal village of Saint Aygulf, the historic center of Fréjus or the beaches of Saint-Raphaël to the east of Var. The Provence region is full of treasures with in particular the medieval village of Roquebrune sur Argens, the Iles d'Or, the Gorges du Verdon, the Lake of Sainte Croix, the famous Golf of Saint-Tropez, the Lake of Saint-Cassien or the well-known cities of Nice, Cannes or Monaco.
Visit, just next to the Etoile d'Argens campsite, Le Château Vaudois, Côtes de Provence wine estate which opens its doors to you to help you discover its history and its products. Taste Provençal rosé wine and discover the most beautiful vineyards in the region.
Activities for the whole family: Provence campsite
It would be wrong to believe that Provence boils down to its coastline and its extensive beaches.
On the Provence side, you will enjoy a land known for the beauty of its panoramas subtly dotted with lavender. Follow the trails and let yourself be guided until it is called the Provençal hinterland! Hilltop villages and medieval towns, passing through the famous Provençal markets with divine scents, share the experience of Provence, its history and its heritage. Lakes, rivers and valleys, it will make you see all the colors.
You will fall in love with nature and the diversity of its landscapes during your next vacation at our campsite in Provence-Alpes-Côte-D’Azur.
Eco responsible campsite in Provence
Towards an ecological campsite
As you can see, it is in the heart of a wonderful region that the Etoile d'Argens campsite is located. Between land, sea and mountains, all the ingredients are there for an unforgettable 100% Provencal holiday. A campsite that has become an Ecolodge, because it is committed to the planet and your well-being. The Ecolodge in Provence, through several concrete actions, fights for the preservation of our Provençal ecosystem, as fragile as it is exceptional. We are mobilizing all our efforts to protect as best we can the fauna and flora present at the Ecolodge, more widely in Provence and throughout France.
