The Ecolodge L’Etoile d’Argens takes part in World Clean Up Day every year.

In 2018, the Ecolodge L’Etoile d’Argens began taking part in World Clean Up Day. This event, known in French as “Journée Mondiale du Nettoyage de notre Planète”, is a global operation designed to combat pollution through citizen-instigated clean-up actions. Each year during World Clean Up Day, thanks to the support of the Fréjus town hall and Fréjus tourist office in the department of Var, as well as our many partners, we at the Ecolodge L’Etoile d’Argens organise and participate in a giant clean-up event of surrounding natural area. Thanks to our efforts so far, we have cleaned up the riverbanks of the Argens, the river that runs by our campsite, as well as the Esclamandes Beach at the river mouth of the ‘Argens and the ponds of Villepey. If you would like to participate in our next clean-up event, then roll up your sleeves and dive in, we will provide you with all the necessary material required to pick up the rubbish. Breakfast is regularly offered to participants before the clean-up begins, as well as a congenial picnic lunch between all our volunteer clean-up crew to celebrate our morning’s work. A chance to do something useful for our planet, all while sharing a friendly moment with others and enjoying a nice walk.
