What Payment Methods Can I Use?
You can pay for your stay using the following methods: (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, Debit Card), French Cheques, ANCV Holiday Vouchers or by cash. We also accept Connect Holiday Vouchers via telephone.
Do you take VACAF?
No. Our Campsite is not a VACAF certified site. You cannot pay for your stay with VACAF vouchers.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrivals are welcome from 4 pm onwards in low season. We cannot guarantee your accommodation will be ready before this time. If you are planning to arrive after campsite closing time (7 pm during Low Season) please let us know so that we can inform you of the procedure.
Departure time is any time before 10 am in low season. Please vacate your accommodation before 10 am at the latest, to avoid an additional 50 € /hour fee.
Is the rental of bed linen included in the price?
The rental of bed linen and towels is only included in our Lodge Kabane bookings. For all other accommodation rentals, the rental prices for linen are listed as follows:
Single Bed: 15 € ; Double Bed: € 20 ; Set of Two Towels 8 € ; Tea towels : 4 €
What is the “Fast Check-In” Option and how do I use it?
The Fast Check-In Option saves you having to wait in line when you arrive at the Ecolodge. To benefit from this option, your booking must comply with the following conditions before your arrival:
- Your booking must be fully paid for.
- All information concerning all the guests must be communicated in advance: Family Name, First Name and date of birth.

What are my accommodation options at the Ecolodge Etoile d’Argens Campsite?
Our campsite in Fréjus contains 337 holiday rentals, comprised of traditional mobile-homes as well as trendy, green, modern, luxury mobile-homes and 156 pitches for tents and caravans. You also have the option of renting one of our lodges, such as our cabin on stilts, with a view of the Argens river. Plenty of options to choose the accommodation that suits your taste and needs! Are the pitches and accommodation on the campsite in the shade?
The Ecolodge Etoile d’Argens is situated on a 16 hectare reserve that includes hundreds of trees. Exposure to the sun on the campsite varies depending on the area, allowing our guests to enjoy both the sun and the shade, according to the season. Don’t hesitate to let us know which you would prefer when booking your stay.
Can we choose which pitch we can stay on?
You can request a specific spot when you book your stay on the phone or directly in the comments when booking your stay online on our website (the number, close proximity to amenities etc.) We cannot guarantee you will get the pitch you choose, but we shall do our best to honour your request. The pitch reservations are dependent of all bookings and selected dates. This service is an extra option and not included in your booking.
How many vehicles are allowed per pitch?
Only one vehicle is allowed per pitch. Any additional vehicles can be parked on a designated spot near the entrance, at an extra charge of 5€/ night.
Does the campsite have street lighting?
Yes, the alleys and shower and toilet blocks have lighting on the inside and the outside.
Are animals allowed on the campsite and in the accommodation?
Pets (aside from dogs belonging to categories 1 and 2 and cats) are welcome to come on holiday with you to our campsite in Côte d’Azur. However, they must be kept on a lead and have an updated set of vaccinations. Our guests must also provide a civil liability insurance. Guests are also responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Bags are available for free at reception. An additional 5 € tax per day and per animal must be provided (with no more than two animals maximum per accommodation or pitch.
Is it possible to rent out a bicycle directly from the campsite?
Yes, it is possible to rent out a bicycle directly from the campsite. During Low Season, bicycles can be delivered to the campsite through telephone booking. During High Season, bikes can be rented out directly from a stand near the campsite entrance.
What is the Ecolodge Etoile d’Argens water-bus shuttle?
Our campsite provides the transport services of a water-bus shuttle. This shuttle seats up to 44 passengers maximum, and is used to transport our guests to the Esclamandes Beach in Saint Aygulf after a 20 minute crossing. The shuttle boarding point can be found on the bank of the Argens, just a few feet away from where the mouth of the river meets the Mediterranean Sea. The boarding point is situated directly on the Ecolodge embarkation spot. Please note the transport fare is not included in your stay. (2,50 € round-trip, children under 12 can travel for free.) The water-bus shuttle is operational 3 days a week during Low Season and 6 days a week during High Season.
Are there any public modes of transport near the campsite?
The closest bus-stop from the campsite can be found 650 metres away from our Fréjus campsite (The name of the stop is St-Aygulf Grands Châteaux). Our water-bus shuttle is also available to transport you to the beach.
Fréjus train station is located 2 miles away.
The closest TGV train can be found it St Raphaël, 3 miles away.
Is there a doctor onsite?
The Ecolodge Etoile d’Argens does not currently have an onsite doctor. However, SOS Médecins can be reached very easily by phone. A doctor’s surgery can be found just under a mile from the campsite. The town of Fréjus also contains a hospital. A defibrillator is available to all our guests at campsite reception.
Is there a wifi network and what about the mobile network?
WIFI is available throughout the campsite. However, the park’s vegetation acts in places as an obstacle to the signal and can lead to a reduced speed in certain areas.
The mobile network is also sometimes poor or saturated, depending on your telephone operator and how busy the park is.
What can I find in the Ecolodge Etoile d’Argens Aquatic Centre?
Our Aquatic Centre is made up of a large, 3 m deep heated swimming pool, a medium-sized heated swimming pool, a heated paddling pool and 2 hot tubs. To find out more about our Aquatic Centre, click here.
Are there any nudist beaches near the campsite?
Yes, there is a nudist beach in Fréjus – Saint-Aygulf, on the last segment of the Esclamandes Beach.
Are pets allowed on the beaches near the campsite?
Pets are not allowed on the beaches near the campsite, with the exception of one portion of the Esclamandes Beach in Saint-Aygulf.. Please note that on this beach, the animals must still be kept on a lead.
How are guests identified?
Is there a mini-club for the children?
Yes, our campsite contains several mini-clubs. These clubs are open from July to August, for children and teenagers between the ages of 4 and 8 and 8 to 12.
What activities are available to teenagers?
During High Season, an activity leader will be there to entertain teenagers between the ages of 13 to 17. They will have many activities to propose. Check our activity timetable each week for more information.
Is the resort accessible to people with limited mobility?
Yes. Our 16 hectare park is completely flat. The main alleys are tarmacked. Our Aquatic Centre, grocery shop and restaurants are also all wheelchair-friendly. Please note that access to the water-bus shuttle is via the steps.
A wheelchair is available at the reception upon simple request.
Three of our sanitation blocks are wheelchair-friendly.
